CMK (Treatments) Ltd commenced trading in 1974 and from that time has specialised in the polyester powder coating of architectural aluminium primarily used as external cladding on building projects.
Schüco, Hydro, Reynaers and McMullens Architectural Aluminium Systems are amongst our larger customers, however we have a range of clients from small family run window companies up to some of the largest fabricators in the UK.
We have achieved this by focusing all our efforts into “Getting the job right first time” and, whilst this has meant significant investment in staff training and plant and equipment, the results have more than justified our investment. We are not however complacent and we continue to seek improvement in our process and procedures by ongoing staff training and evaluation of plant and equipment.
In order to facilitate our company’s culture we hold investors in people and ISO 9001:2015 certification as well as being approved by Syntha Pulvin, Akzo Nobel and Tiger coatings.
The factory is a 50,000 square foot site just off junction 2 of the M5 west of Birmingham, this means that transportation costs are minimised due to our ease of access to the UK motorway system.
We can process aluminium up to the following dimensions 7.2m long 2.0m high 0.8m wide. All work is chromated prior to coating and we can normally offer a 30-year guarantee.
We have a brand new state of the art spray pretreatment plant and high speed coating line. Installed for January 2009 this offers our customers the latest in pretreatment quality and surface finishing in the UK. Work is not handled after loading right through pretreatment and coating until the paint is fully cured and cooled. Ensuring consistent quality and long life of the powder coated product.
